A pendant lamp, handmade from ceramic – perhaps you can't quite imagine it. But this is one of my absolute favourite products right now. A pendant lamp with a carved Art Deco pattern on the inside of the lamp. When you switch on the light, the lamp comes to life, figuratively speaking, of course! The biggest challenge was carving the inside with the small knife I use for my patterns. But I succeeded!
Sometimes you have a new product in mind and you think: could I make that too? And this pendant lamp was an example of that. I was so happy that the fitting fit perfectly when I took the pendant lamp out of the ceramic kiln. I had made the hole exactly the right size (tricky, because clay shrinks at all sorts of moments). And the fitting, cord, and ceiling rose I had ordered, with their copper colour, perfectly match the lamp's green glaze.
