Everything you find on this website is handmade ceramics, made by me from start to finish. It once began as a lump of clay and was shaped, fired, glazed, and fired again by me. I throw my work on my electric pottery wheel, usually using glazes I developed myself.

I love to decorate my work with patterns: openwork or carved into the clay. I draw inspiration from the nature around us, historical patterns, such as the Art Deco period or the prehistoric Funnelbeaker culture from our beautiful Drenthe. I then give it a contemporary twist.

Of course, my pieces always have to look beautiful, but I also really like it if you can just use them in everyday life. To give your interior that little something extra, to use in the kitchen or to eat or drink from. Unique handmade ceramics to make life a little more beautiful.
